Dog Days of Summer

I know technically it is still Spring and I also know that most people aren't out of school yet. But we are!!!! And therefore our Summer has begun!!!!

The hard part about having 3 boys ALL at home ALL day long is trying to keep them BUSY!!!!! We try to stay busy because if  you don't a FIGHT almost immediately abrupts:)

School's Out For Summer

Pre-school is officially over for Briggs. Sniff Sniff. He graduated on Friday night and it was so stinkin' cute!!! We sat at the back and you could here that boy singing all the way back there!!! They put on quite the program. 

 After the ceremony there was a little reception and then we went back to our house and cooked out hamburgers.

 I decorated the table with some festive "2013" decor:)

Saturday we had 2 t-ball games and 2 birthday parties to go too. Our first party was Briggs' friend Kade. Such a cutie. 

They had fun in the sun swimming.

The next party was their cousin Kannon's 3rd Carnival themed party.

 As you can imagine my boys were worn out by this time of the evening!!! They were GROUCHY!!!!!  Needless to say we went home, bathed and crashed!!!!!
So far we are off to a great SUMMER!!!!

BUSY. That's an understatement.

I don't know how I would handle not being busy. Honestly, I love it. I really do. Not a crazy, stressed out kind of busy, but a busy that keeps us going and socializing:) Weve had so much go on that I don't really know where to start so here are some pics that just highlight the past couple of months.

Mother's Day

 Briggs' birthday party at school. He wanted baseball cookies.

Last day of preschool:( That was today. I cried. Probably not done yet either.

 We took a field trip to the dairy. Not going to lie I was in awe!! Loved it!!!

Easter

We had such a wonderful Easter!! The weather was beautiful and it was a great day to celebrate our Lord!!!

 My boys looked so handsome:) We started the day off at church with a big egg hunt. They got quite a few eggs I must say.

 Then after church we came to our house for lunch. We had several people over and it was a great meal. Here are the 6 cousins for their annual Easter pic:)

 Crue just sat down mid-hunting to start eating his candy.

  A few days before Easter the older 2 and I dyed eggs. They loved it:)

I love Easter and all that it means. New life, Spring time, Hope and so much more. Thank you Lord:)

Dino's and Pizza

Grady LOOOOOOVES pizza. I do too. My MIL introduced me to these little pizza packs after she made them with the boys one day. They are fantastic!!!! You can find them in the refrigerated section by the biscuits.

Last Friday we went to "Discover the Dinosaurs". It was really cool!!

 The dinosaurs were life like. I guess? Never seen a real dinosaur. Anyways, they were very detailed and animated.

 I had to make the boys touch this one:)

We had a good time. I can't wait for warm weather!!!!!! Hurry up, SPRING!!!

What a Day

We have kind of had a big day today. Briggs got to go to "Experience Kindergarten Day" today at the "big school" as we call it. 

He was really excited but he was so nervous when we got there. 

 I am so thankful that he got to be in Mrs. Woodward's class. She just so happens to be my best friend. Wink. Wink. She is also an amazing teacher so I know he is in good hands. However........this did not keep me from balling like a baby when I got to the car.:) I know he is having a ball though. He loves to learn and socialize.

 After I dropped him off Crue and I headed to Grady's birthday party at his school. They always do such a great job of celebrating things.

 I am just so proud of this kid. He used to cling to me when I would come to parties at the school and now he does what he is supposed to, for the most part anyways.:)
My boys are growing up so fast. I don't wish to turn the clock back,  just wish I could freeze time and soak up every second that I can with them.
