Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

I had my sister-in-law's bachelorette party at my house on Friday and it was a blast! We played some fun games and she received some "fun" gifts!

My mother-in-law and I made her cake. The theme was pink and black zebra. We had so much fun making this cake. Fondant is too much fun!

Saturday night I went out with my sister and then met up with Kyla and some of her friends for round 2! Not really! I always laugh so hard when I am around Cori and we haven't hung out together in forever. We had a great time and of course laughed our tails off!

I just can't post without mentioning my boys. Briggs is now sitting at the bar to eat like a big boy!

Code name: Potty training

You got it! Briggs is pottied trained! Whoo Hoo!!!!! He is doing great and I am soo proud of him! It took one week to completely get him going. He is even dry from his nap and most of the times when he wakes up in the morning. It is so nice not to have to buy 2 packs of diapers, and really nice not to have to change 2 different diapers! Thanks to everyone for the suggestions and input. I have to admit this has been the hardest part of parenting so far! Bottle was way easy, going to sleep by himself easy, getting rid of the pacifier easy, potty training, not so easy. I feel very accomplished and I am so proud of my soon to be two year old. He is such a BIG boy! Way to go Briggster!

Fergilicious

I think she is very pretty, but my boys are OBSESSED! She was performing on the Today show or Good Morning America when they first discovered her. Grady was sitting in his exersaucer gazing at the T.V. and Briggs was staring at it with his mouth wide open. I came in to look at the T.V. to see what they were in awe about and it was Fergie! She was on Ellen a few days later and they did it again! ( NO I do not put my kids in front of the T.V. all day we just happened to be in the living room most of the day.) I guess Fergie is their first crush!

*As I was writing this, Briggs pointed at the computer and said "Momma" to Fergie's pic! HA!! I think I need to get his eyes checked!

Just some stuff

This post is going to be pretty random. There are not recent pics of the boys so I will post some and I also wanted to post a pic of my sister-in-law at her bridal shower.

She is getting married July 11th and Mr. Briggs is the ring bearer (HA!). It is going to be pretty comical.

I attempted to take Briggs to the wonderful pool here in Sunray (again HA!) but he wasn't having it. We were gone in 15 min. It was worth a shot though.

I am still potty training and it is going a lot better then any of the other times I have attempted but it is a very trying and tedious process. I now know why kids are 4 before they go to the potty! But, I will NOT give up!

Grady is growing like a weed and eats like a champ.

Hi-Ho Hi-Ho.....

It's back to work I go! It has been a wonderful and fast 12 weeks! I can't believe that Grady is already 12 weeks old. I will return to work on Thursday and I will still being doing my one day a week. The grandparents or Daddy takes care of the boys when I do work so it works out great. I still miss the little guys even though it is one day. I LOVE my job and I think I get the best of both worlds! I attended a Lactation Conference this past weekend and learned a TON! I never knew how passionate people were about breastfeeding. There were people from Australia, Denmark, and Switzerland in Amarillo, TX attending the conference! Blows me away!
