Briggs and Crue had their 4 year and 2 month well child checks this morning. They both checked out really good. Briggs weighs 38lbs. 75th percentile and is 42 1/4inches tall 90%. Crue weighs 14lbs. 90% and is 24inches 75th-90th%. The each got 3 shots and did really well. Briggs was really brave but he was a little peeved afterwards and told me that it DID hurt and he did not like them! Crue of course did not like them either. He did however, love the doctor. We are so fortunate to have a WONDERFUL pediatrician. I think Grady took it harder then the other 2! B & G both got FluMist because Briggs will be starting school. Normally I don't get them the flu vaccine but I thought this year we might get exposed and having a new baby around, I thought it was a good idea.

Fun Day 2011
Every year Sunray has an event called "Fun Day" there is a parade, BBQ, and kind of like a mini fair. This year they had a mud volleyball tournament and a Fun Run to benefit a little boy who has been diagnosed with cancer.
It was a lot of fun this year! We kicked things off with the Fun Run which was a mile and you could run, walk, or be a couch potatoe participant. Kyla, my SIL, and I decided to run! Yeah for us. We did finish! And it wasn't all that bad. It did rain the whole time but we couldn't complain! Cody pushed the younger 2 boys in the double stroller and Briggs rode his bike. Poor little guy had an accident and scraped up his elbow:( Don't worry the candy from the parade made it ALL better:)
Before the run.
Briggs enjoyed playing on the big dirt piles. The big guys couldn't move to well in the thick mud.Had to get a pic of the shirt before he cut the sleeves off and he was reduced to "TERFIEL". Ha!**The little boy who was diagnosed with lymphoma is Kyler Wilson and I know that him and his family would appreciate your prayers:)
We have well child checks for Briggs (4) and Crue (2 months) tomorrow. Wish me luck for I am going by myself! AHHHH!!!!!

Golden
Saturday night we celebrated Cody's grandparent's 50th Anniversary. My MIL did all the decorations and made the cake. There was about 80 people there and it was a great celebration.
These 2 people would do anything for anybody and are the neatest, sweetest people you will ever meet. Congrats on making it 50 years!!!!!
The picture table. It had old and new pics of them and family.

What Kids Say
Briggs can say the craziest stuff sometimes! Here are some of the things he has been saying:
"Momma, you look like an old man." (He told me this when I was in my swimsuit.)
"Your a fanny pack."
"I got bit by a rattlesnake." (After he was stung by a bee.0
"To the figgledicker." (I finally figured out what this was. On Cat in the Hat he says "To the thingamajigger.")
"Silly 'ole gumball patches."
While playing I Spy he says "I smell something ______."
"I'm not a boy, I'm a man."
"I think the jungle is down over yonder."
"What's my teacher's name going to be? I think I'll call her teachy!"
You never know what's going to come out of his mouth. I'm afraid that Grady will be worse because he copies everything his big brother does.:)

Weekend Wrap Up & 2 Months
Once again we had another busy weekend. Friday night Cody took the older two boys to the Alumni game, Sunray vs. Dumas, in Dumas. Before they left the were burning off energy in the front yard and I caught these cute pics. (Don't know why my computer wouldn't turn them?)
I love this one of them. Grady said "Birgss", (That's how he pronounces it) "let's watch the cars race down the street." If you know anything about our street it is that cars don't race down it. It's cute that he thinks that though.:)
Is this not a good football stance? I mean, I don't know a lot about football but it looks pretty darn good if you ask me.
Crue and I stayed home. He slept and I got to shave my legs and watch CSI. The boys got home early due to rain. (No you did not misunderstand me I said rain).
