Day 2

Day 2 of OKC we planned to go to Whitewater Water park since the boys LOVE water.

I didn't want to take my camera because I didn't want to take the chance of it getting wet. So here is a picture of us at the hotel before we left.
Whitewater wasn't such a hit because Briggs wasn't quite tall enough to ride any rides so we were only there for 2 hours and the we decided to nap. After our family nap we headed to Bricktown. I LOVED Bricktown! It was sooo cute and I think it was just the right size. We walked up and down it just looking at all of the shops. They had a little water fountain that the boys enjoyed.Grady wasn't so sure about it.After talking to a Bricktown worker, I guess you could call him that, we decided to eat at Coach's. I am SO glad we did. I had the best spinach salad. It was AMAZING!!!! Cody said his burger was great and the boys had chicken and a corn dog.The restaurant overlooked the ballpark and they had a game going on due to the rain the night before. The boys loved watching the baseball game. It was a great time. If you ever go to OKC go to Coach's.After our belly's were full we decided to take the water taxi tour down Bricktown. It was a nice tour and they explained how all of Bricktown was built. On our water ride I saw this sign that said Frozen Yogurt. I LOVE me some frozen yogurt so we headed there to check it out.
This place was called Peachwave. It is a self serve frozen yogurt place and they have several different flavors of yogurt you can choose from.Even Cheesecake flavor!!!!!They had a bar full of different toppings you could add on. Cody and I added strawberries and bananas.
Briggs and Grady had cherries, M&M's, sprinkles, and blueberries. As you can see they enjoyed it also.

The candy coated yogurt:)
IF you ever have the chance to go in a Peachwave I highly recommend it!! After the yogurt we went to the hotel and went to bed. Day 3 manana!

OKC Part 1 of 3

We went to Oklahoma City for a nice little vacation this past week. It was a great trip and we had a lot of fun. The boys did great which was a huge relief for Cody and I:) We woke up early on Tuesday and stayed until early Friday morning. Here is Day 1 of 3!!!!!

Grady on the drive up. We left at 5:00a.m. and this is exactly why. He is not the greatest traveler so we wanted hime to sleep. He did sooo good. Much better than I expected.

Briggs always does good in the car. It never takes him long to go out.

The macho man driving. So serious;).

We stopped at an Indian trading post and they had Teepees and buffaloe.
Davy Crockett and Daniel Boone:)
Our first stop in OKC was the Zoo. It was Awesome!! It took us 3 hours to go through and it was hot as blazes!!!!
Grady was intrigued by the monkeys.
Flamingos
Me at the "Nesting Area". Briggs said "Momma you laid an egg".

So he had to too.

The boys looking at the tiger. She was beautiful.

The boys at the Gorilla section. (Excuse Briggs' manners. If you have boys you understand.)

When Briggs saw the Gorilla's feet he said "He has Daddy's toes!" And he is EXACTLY right!

These turtles were HUGE!!!!

This sign was by their pen. Ya think?!?!?!?

Grady only missed about the last 45 min. He was a tired baby.

After the zoo we went to Penn Square Mall and went to the Build A Bear. It was so much fun.
First you had to Choose a bear,

Then you had to stuff it and give it a heart,

Next was fluffing it were you got to clean off any extra stuffing, The last steps were dressing it and naming it. They picked out their clothes for their bears and this is how they turned out. The one on the left is All Star, Briggs' bear and the one on the right is Rock Star, Grady's bear.

After we checked into our hotel we went to eat at Toby Keith's I love this bar and Grill.

I had the salmon, Cody had steak and the boys had chicken.

We had a great first day and were exhausted! After we ate we went to Bass Pro shops and then headed to our room for the night.
Part 2 coming tomorrow!

Summa Summa Summa Time!

This post is going to be a lot of pictures with explanations:) Briggs loved doing fireworks this year. He loved the sparklers and a hand grenade that was smoke.

Grady, on the other hand did not.

The hand grenade was really cool.

Grady did like the little things that you threw down and popped.

The other day I kept my friends little girls, Maycee and Raylee. As you can see Grady took to Raylee:) We will be showing this picture at their wedding:)

Briggs is my little ham. He makes me laugh ALL the time. My neice Elizabeth stayed the night with us the other night and these were her goggles that he wore.

Briggs and "Biz" as Briggs calls her were watching a movie in my bed.

Sweet Grady.

I love these two pictures.

See how he makes me laugh?!?!?!

Briggs is in gymnastics or "nastics" as he calls it and he finally LOVES it! He is pretty good at everything too.

Ms. Kelly and Briggs with the cartwheel sticks.
We are headed to OKC tomorrow for family vacation!!! I can't wait!!!!!! Hope everyone had a great 4th!!!
