Grady's Fall Festival and Pumpkin Patch

Grady had his Fall Party at school yesterday. We had a great time:) Grady took these treats to school. Easy Peesy! Thanks Pinterest!!
They got to play a lot of fun games and did face painting. Miss Jamie painting on Briggs.
 Grady building his spider.

 Making a pumpkin.
Briggs gets double party time, his party is today:)
Grady is so proud of his spider cookie.

I made the teachers a little goody sack. I just bought a halloween bandana at Walmart, put some candy inside, wrapped it up and tied it with a ribbon. I found these free printables online.
After the party and naps we decided to go to the pumpkin patch. It was GORGEOUS outside!!!
They had a lot of fun.
And then...... We ran into the VARGAS girls!!!!!! Yay!! Even more fun!!!!

Crazy boys!!!  Love them so much.
Briggs' party is at school today and then we get to go Trick or Treating tonight!!
Happy Halloween!!! Have a SPOOKtacular day:)

Ketchup

Let me give you a little of the down low about what's been happening at the Satterfield's!!! We have been so busy and today I am kidless so I figure it would be a great day to play catch up aka Ketchup on my blog!!
For starters we got to celebrate my sister and brother in law's new baby with a gender reveal party! It was so much fun! I just love these! We ate good 'ole Mexican Pile On and she revealed it with cupcakes:) Which of course was..........

BLUE!!!!!!!!
So we get to welcome another sweet baby boy in February:)

We have also taken our family pictures. I love taking pics. I think it is because my photographer is UH-MAZING!! Seriously, if you ever need pics taken she's your man or uh-woman, I mean. :)

With every spare minute around here, (which is never!) we have been doing football or birthday parties or some kind of fall event. I went to my sorority's Salad Supper the other night and we had such a good time. We got to dress up and that always makes it a lot of fun too:)

Well that's about it for now. Hope to keep updated!

Grey Matter

It's true. I read it. And I would be telling a big lie if I told you I didn't like it. I read all 3 in a week. Does that say something about me? Ha!! It was a very good series and I would read it again tomorrow. Don't judge me, K?:)

I have been busy reading redesigning my office/laundry room!! I am so excited to get this room modernized. I need a woman cave in my house, you know since I live with a bunch of males:)
For starters I have been looking for a corner desk to go in there but I didn't want to pay much. I looked on craigslist and VOILA!! The perfect desk was just waiting for me!! I will have to paint it, and I think I am going to paint it white but not totally sure  yet.
This is kind of what it looks like. My parents picked it up for me so I don't have pics of the actual desk:)
I am going to paint the walls a dark purple!! Again, a little girly, but I need some feminine stuff going on up in this household!!
I am thinking about this leopard rug! What do you think?
I can't wait for it all to come together! I think I will accent with lime green and yellow too:)
Hope everyone has a great day!!

Grady's Big Day

Grady started preschool today and he did so good!! Yay!! I thought that he might have a horrendous meltdown but he didn't. A few tears were shed but overall he was such a big boy.
Briggs asked about 20 times where Grady was. I guess they do love each other:)
I can NOT believe my baby boy is in school:( (Yes, I realize he is not my actual baby child, but I call ALL of them my baby and I probably will their whole lives:))

My big boy at the school.

Briggs has his big day tomorrow and he is ready. They just grow too fast.

One Last Hurrah

It's Labor Day which means summer has come to an end:( We decided to go to the River one last time to end our summer. The boys had so much fun. I just love getting to let them run and play and enjoy themselves. Makes my heart happy:)

I just love this pic of Crue. I love the gap between his teeth!

 Briggs running. Baywatch style.
 Creepin'

 I enjoy myself too:)

The end of Summer is here but so it the beginning of Fall! I can't wait to bust out my fall decorations! I love this time of year:)

P.S. Grady's first day of preschool is tomorrow. Pray for me, him, his teachers, and his classmates. This MIGHT be a disaster:)

Class of '02

I had my big 10 year reunion this weekend:) I'm not going to lie I was a tad bit nervous. Why? I have no idea, but I was. It was at Lake Tanglewood Clubhouse and it was SUCH a good time!! I loved seeing all of my old classmates and friends. I only wished we could have had like a speed dating sort of deal only you wouldn't date you would just sit down with everyone and talk for just a few minutes:)

I saw a lot of friends that I hadn't seen in a while and it was good to hear from all of them.

There was such a good turnout, I think 97 or so. Here is our group pic.
I can't wait until our next one:)

The boys were having too much fun in the bathtub tonight so I had to take some pics! Ha! Crazy dudes.
Rub a dub dub, three men in a tub:)

School starts for the older 2 on Tuesday:) I'm ready!

Flag Football and Furniture

I have found a new hobby!!I have been redoing furniture and I am having sooo much fun!! This is a bookshelf that I custom painted for a little girls room. She wanted zebra:) It turned out so cute.
This is a piece that I redid argyle on top and distressed it. It is way cute too:)

Now on to the big news. FOOTBALL!!! Briggs has started playing flag football and he had his first scrimmage yesterday. He did really good. They ALL did! It was so cute to watch.
They had the scrimmage right next to a HUGE playground. Who does that? Obviously that wasn't thought out very well, because all of the boys wanted to go on the playground instead of play football.
 Down, Set, Hut!!!

 Crue enjoying the game.

 Coach Cody:)
I can't believe he is old enough to play football. Gees, where does the time go?
