Crue's Mustache Bash

My sweet baby boy turned one. Sniff, Sniff. Man how time flies!!! We celebrated with a Little Man, Mustache Bash! It was sooo much fun!

The table turned out so cute. We had cookies, cupcakes, "man"wishes, and a drink station.

The photo booth was so much fun!! It was my favorite.

I had a bucket of props that I had been collecting for a while from thrift stores and garage sales. There were hats, ties, mustaches and little lips and glasses on a stick.

Crue got a giant sandbox from Nana & Papa. It is AWESOME!!! My dad built it just for the little man.

It was a little warm here today in the top of the Texas panhandle and I have a pretty little sunburn on my back to prove it:) I am so thankful that Sunray has a very nice, kid friendly pool to go too. It felt so good and the boys LOVE the water!!

Kids 'Q 2012

Briggs had his first ever cook off last night!! He did such a good job:) They had to cook a hamburger patty and season it and flip it all by themselves. The patty's were judged after they were done cooking it. I must say I was a little worried after all of the seasoning he put on it but I tried a piece of it and it wasn't too bad!!!! He had a good time and that is all that mattered.

 Grady had to help too:) He wasn't old enough this year but he still helped and got a medal too.

Cody is at the cook-off right now for the "grown up" competition. Hopefully he is cookin' up some prize winning BBQ!!!!!

Catch UP

Boy have I been out of the  blogging world or what? Trust me, I have tried but I couldn't upload my pics and who wants to read my blog without pics? NOBODY!!!! So...... I will play catch up:) Briggs got to celebrate his birthday party at school since he has a summer birthday and he wanted Star Wars cookies. I had a lady here in Sunray do them. She did an AWESOME job.

 My nephew Griffin turned one ( Sniff sniff) and we celebrated his birthday with a monster bash. Don't they have the cutest family?:)

 We took a family vacation to Oklahoma. Antlers, OK to be exact. It was a great time. We camped, fished, ate, ate, and ate some more!!!!

 I caught my first fish ever!!!! It was like it was a 50lb marlin if you ask me. :)

 This house belongs to Cody's great great great grandparents who were Indians. It is a really neat old house.

Spring has Sprung!!

Spring is here and in full gear!!!! Grady turned 3 and he had a CAMO party at Jump N Jive. It was a blast. His actual birthday fell on a Wednesday so we celebrated at home too:) He went for his 3rd year well child check and everything checked out perfect. He is off the charts for height and in 75% for weight which boggles my mind because the kid is so stinkin' skinny! I guess his mass just falls in his long ole legs:)
Briggs had t-ball tryouts and he did great. It was super cold and windy that day so they cut the tryouts short. Cody is the coach and Briggs is loving that.

I was a little nervous to tell ya the truth! It couldn't have been a better friend though! He went to his friend Case's house and Case's mom and I are good friends so that made it a lot better:)
We dyed Easter eggs. We only had one mess. No biggy:) Just purple dye. Right? I didn't freak out. No not me. Thankfully, it all cleaned up.

I am loving every bit of this beautiful time of year! We are taking a trip to OKC this week and going on to Antlers, OK to visit Cody's family. I am sooo excited!!! Spring it on!!!:)
