Pumpkin Patch, Spring Fling, Nursery & Crue's Meet & Eat

I am a little behind but as you can tell we have been super busy lately!! I can't imagine what it will be like when all of the boys are in school.
Last week the boys planted pumpkins at my parents house and their Papa made these signs and the boys decorated them with stickers.

Grady DOES NOT like his picture taken. I don't know why but the kid always hides or turns his head.

My dad and Briggs were whipping each other with a long stick:)

Last weekend we had our 2nd Annual Satterfield Spring Fling. The weather was gorgeous and the food was delicious!! We had a great turn out.

Some of the food.

We had smoked brisket, sausage, ribs, peppers, potatoe salad, rolls, and tons of dessert.

The Nursery!!! I am soooooo pleased with the way it turned out.

This is lookin in from the door and this is his changing table that I redid.

I have rocked the other boys in this rocker and can't wait to rock little Crue in it either!

This is a closer look at the table on this wall. Their is a pic of me and the boys and this cute little lamp. I got this table at Walmart for $5.00 and painted it.
I am so proud of this art work. I painted these all by myself!!! I just took regular cavasas' from Hobby Lobby and painted them and my friend cut out vinyl for me.
I got his bedding from babybedding.com. It is custom and I just love how it turned out.
I also painted this sign and got the letters from Hobby Lobby and I will fill in his birth weight and length at the bottom.
Last night we had a little get together at a restaurant in Dumas to celebrate Mr. Crue's arrival. My sister in law, Kyla, did all the work and had these cookies made.

Aren't they adorable!!! They match his bedding perfect!

There were little C's with his name on it, they were so cute!Miss ElizabethLordy to I look large or what!! 36 almost 37 weeks. My sister and I. You can't even tell she just had a baby!!!!Kyla, my sis in law and Mr. Owen.

Mother's Day

I had a WONDERFUL mother's day!! I got to be with my precious boys and that is what I love best!! We went to church and had a GREAT service and Briggs made my a card in Sunday School.
He was so proud of it he came running out of the room and showed it too me. We immediately had to put it on the refrigerator:) For some reason he called it a ticket and keeps asking me if I love my ticket he made me. So cute:)We had a sort of salad pot luck meal at my MIL and this is the salad I took. It was wonderful and so easy to make! I am so thankful for all of the women in my life. I have been blessed by wonderful grandmother's, mother-in-law, grandmother-in-law, and especially my mom. She is truly a saint and I don't know what I would do with out her. I love you Momma!!

Who always overlooksyour faults and sees thebest in you

A Mother is one whose special love inspires you day by day.

Saturday

We had a long, hot, busy Saturday!! The weather was gorgeous and I think it topped 93!! We started playing outside at about 9:00a.m. and Grady went down for a short nap at 12:30 and then we were off to our first party.
Raylee (Grady's future wife) celebrated her birthday with a butterfly and bugs theme!! It was sooo cute!! There was "dirt" cups with worms.

Briggs colored a grasshopper when we first got there.

Grady attempted to color something.

Then we went on a bug hunt!! The kids loved it!

Briggs is showing me one of his specimens. Grady thought they were real and shivered at them.:)

Raylee Dee the birthday girl:)

Blowing out her candles with big sis by her side.

Briggs LOVED this game. It is the Elefun game that blows butterflies out and you have to catch them in a net.

Opening presents.

Grady was inseparable with the orange balloon.

All boy. He always has dirt on his face. It seriously looks like he eats it!! This is his posed smile! I love how he turns his top lip in:)

Raylee and her family live out in the country, so us city folk were amazed at the horses and cows. This is Midnight the girls' pony.

This horse is Taffey. He was really gentle and calm.

After Raylee's birthday party we headed out to a baby shower for some friends of ours Tony and Shianne. They are expecting a girl, Miss Emmalee Rae, about a month after Crue is due.

They had it set up soooo cute!

The little horse centerpieces.

A pinata!

Their house is out in the country and it is gorgeous out there!! There are tons of trees and I just love going out there. Unfortunately the boys and I didn't get to stay very long due to the no nap issue but we did get to enjoy the FABULOUS food!!
