Easter

We had a great Easter weekend. We started it on Good Friday by decorating Easter eggs. The boys loved it!!
We didn't even make a mess:)

Sunday morning the Easter bunny left them candy and new beach towels with their names on them!

The boys all dressed up for church. I have NO idea what they were doing.

32 weeks

It's hard to believe that in 8 weeks (hopefully 7) there will be another little boy added to these precious little guys.

I can't help but wonder if he will be an old soul like Briggs, laid back, easy going, hard worker, perfectionist

OR

will he be like Grady, loving, momma's boy, cuddle bug, VERY temperamental, strong willed

I really just think he is going to be Crue, and he is going to be different from both of these guys just the way God wants it to be.:)

P.S. My little sis Cori is having her baby next week. Please pray that all goes well and that her and little Griffin are healthy and that the delivery goes smoothly.:)

Projects

I have been working on a few projects for Crue's nursery. So far they have turned out really good. This is his changing table. My MIL had this piece of furniture in her spare bedroom and didn't need it so I decided to give it a facelift and use it for Crue's room. It belonged to Cody's Great Grandma so that makes it even more special. Before

To start I "roughed it up" using Steel Wool so that the paint would stick. It had a very shiny and dark finish on it so I had to use 3 coats of paint to cover it. After each coat I lightly sanded it and then painted on another coat.

Briggs was my little helper:)AfterWhat do ya think???? I am in LOVE with it!!!! I got these knobs at Hobby Lobby and let me tell you they MAKE the dresser! I am going to get a different changing pad cover. I am almost done with his nursery and when it is complete I will post pics:)

Sunshine

I am LOVING this spring time weather!! Sunshine is good for my soul! I love watching flowers bloom and green grass come up, but most of all I love watching my sons play in the warm weather!! They are outside boys I tell ya!!! If it is not nice outside it is WWIII at the Satterfield house. :) Not really but it sure makes it difficult to entertain 2 boys under 3.Grady loves to take orders in his play house and then go "prepare" them on his mud table and grill. Briggs made an AWESOME sand castle only to have it destroyed by his little brother before I could get the camera, thankfully Briggs didn't get too upset.

I asked Briggs who taught him how to make a sand castle and he said "Papa did". I love hearing that and love that he remembers. My kids are SO lucky to have the best Grandparents and Great-Grandparents around.

I have been working on a Crue's nursery and it is turning out SO cute!! I have a few projects that I have done and they are almost finished! We are going to be busy the next couple of weeks doing garage sales, Easter, Cori having her baby, and I have to go to the doctor every 2 weeks now because Mr. Crue is measuring 3 weeks ahead! Oh, and believe me I look like it too!! Have a great Spring Time day!!

My baby sister is having a baby!!

My little sister is having her first baby so we had a shower for her a couple of weekends ago at The Back Porch Cafe. She is having a boy, Griffin Coy and she got a TON of stuff!!!!

I can NOT wait to meet Griffin! He is due April 30 so we don't have long to wait. I definitely will be posting pics of that little guy when he enters the world so stay tuned!!
