Grey Matter

It's true. I read it. And I would be telling a big lie if I told you I didn't like it. I read all 3 in a week. Does that say something about me? Ha!! It was a very good series and I would read it again tomorrow. Don't judge me, K?:) 

 I have been busy reading redesigning my office/laundry room!! I am so excited to get this room modernized. I need a woman cave in my house, you know since I live with a bunch of males:)
For starters I have been looking for a corner desk to go in there but I didn't want to pay much. I looked on craigslist and VOILA!! The perfect desk was just waiting for me!! I will have to paint it, and I think I am going to paint it white but not totally sure  yet.
This is kind of what it looks like. My parents picked it up for me so I don't have pics of the actual desk:)

I am going to paint the walls a dark purple!! Again, a little girly, but I need some feminine stuff going on up in this household!!

I am thinking about this leopard rug! What do you think?

 I can't wait for it all to come together! I think I will accent with lime green and yellow too:)

Grady's Big Day

Grady started preschool today and he did so good!! Yay!! I thought that he might have a horrendous meltdown but he didn't. A few tears were shed but overall he was such a big boy. 

 Briggs asked about 20 times where Grady was. I guess they do love each other:)

 I can NOT believe my baby boy is in school:( (Yes, I realize he is not my actual baby child, but I call ALL of them my baby and I probably will their whole lives:))

Briggs has his big day tomorrow and he is ready. They just grow too fast.

One Last Hurrah

It's Labor Day which means summer has come to an end:( We decided to go to the River one last time to end our summer. The boys had so much fun. I just love getting to let them run and play and enjoy themselves. Makes my heart happy:)

The end of Summer is here but so it the beginning of Fall! I can't wait to bust out my fall decorations! I love this time of year:)

P.S. Grady's first day of preschool is tomorrow. Pray for me, him, his teachers, and his classmates. This MIGHT be a disaster:)

Class of '02

I had my big 10 year reunion this weekend:) I'm not going to lie I was a tad bit nervous. Why? I have no idea, but I was. It was at Lake Tanglewood Clubhouse and it was SUCH a good time!! I loved seeing all of my old classmates and friends. I only wished we could have had like a speed dating sort of deal only you wouldn't date you would just sit down with everyone and talk for just a few minutes:)

 I saw a lot of friends that I hadn't seen in a while and it was good to hear from all of them.

 There was such a good turnout, I think 97 or so. Here is our group pic.

I can't wait until our next one:)
